Another night, another stupid party that Myungsoo was forced to attend. His parents were socialites, he preferred the solitude of his own bedroom. When they arrived at the coast, Myungsoo was less than content. A boat? They were going on a boat? He repeated in his mind, reminding him of his lack of escape plans. How was he supposed to sneak off a boat? Myungsoo sighed, tonight was proving more difficult than planned.
Two hours later, they were drifting off to sea, captain touring happily while socialites chatted and gossiped. Myungsoo had already had enough from the moment he had arrived. Equipped with nothing but a bottle of water, he began to roam the giant vessel. He stopped, turned, and stared. A lifeboat was dangling from the edge, a simple pulley system able to guide into the waters below. He glanced back and forth from the shore line to where the party was taking place. Surely, no one would notice if he borrowed one of the many life boats? Within minutes he was rowing back to shore, the tide protesting greatly against his movements. His arms became tired, his muscles protesting in pain. The yacht was drifting further and further away, out of reach from the tired male. He groaned, just what had he gotten himself into?
The wind picked up, the sea began to roar beneath the plywood. The darkened sky was brightened with the odd flash of lightning. He began to panic. Why had he left that stupid party? That was the last he remembered before he ended up on this stupid island.

Yes they do. And of course, this place is active.

Jieun was the perfect daughter. She did whatever her socialite parents wanted her to. She got top grades at school, was in all the major clubs, worked at the family business and did charity work in Seoul. Sure, her life was prestigous, and everything a normal person would want, but she didn’t want it. Her dream was to become a singer. Her prized possesion was her acoustic guitar, and she never went anywhere without her notepad, full of songs, and lyrics, some random phrases, some full songs.
When she turned eighteen she decided as an ‘adult’ she would do something she wanted, and then go home and be the obediant daughter she was again. Her parents were reluctant but understood completely. Jieun left a few days after her birthday and started on a cruise, where she would spend time traveling in major music cities across the world.
What she didn’t expect was the storm that ruined the ship, while waiting for the new ship to arrive after the other had sunk, her lifeboat drifted to the unknown island of chirku. She was greeted by the residents there, and she felt more alive there than she had before. When she went back to the beach to find the lifeboat gone, she was oddly happy at the feeling of freedom.
